Presentation of Scientific Project Topics

The presentation of the topics for the scientific project WS19/20 will take place on July 3, 11 a. m. in room G10-110. Within the scientific project, master students are given the opportunity to work independently in groups of 3-4 students on a research topic in the field of Management Science. Further information can be found here.

The paper is co-authored with Reinhold Haux and  Dirk Mattfeld  (University of Braunschweig), Andreas Oberweis (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology), Barbara Paech (University of Heidelberg) and Alfred Winter (Leipzig University).

Networks has recently accepted and published the paper entitled Impact of Congestion Pricing Schemes on Costs and Emissions of Commercial Fleets in Urban Areas. The paper is co-authored with Shu Zhang (Chongqing University) and Ann Campbell (University of Iowa). Within this paper, we investigate whether different types of tolling schemes work in the way municipalities expect and compare there impact on a company’s total costs, fuel usage, and delivery tour plans.
